Annette started her working life as a dental assistant, working with both orthodontists and oral and maxillofacial surgeons. She completed a diploma in Practice Management and has worked in a variety of health care settings in Central and Far North Queensland. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Speech Pathology degree as a mature age student, graduating with Honours from James Cook University.
From a family of health care professionals and teachers she takes special interest in all forms of education, technology and professional development and is a returning Cairns local dedicated to providing speech pathology services to the Far North Region.
Annette is passionate about helping you to communicate with confidence. She is dedicated to assisting clients achieve functional outcomes that enable them to participate in activities of choice. She says the ability to communicate should be for everyone. The most exciting and rewarding part of her job is empowering patients with renewed confidence and self-belief.
